Diploma In Engineering

The Diploma or Diploma in Engineering or in Technical Studies is a technical degree below the undergraduate rank. It is aims to provide students some basic knowledge of engineering,technology, scientific thinking, computing, mathematical techniques, a good knowledge of English to communicate in the job field.
It also develops the ability to apply the basic problem solving tricks and techniques. In simple words we can say that diploma makes us eligible to apply for a technical job without completing our degree.
The person who qualifies in Diploma is called diploma holder or in short diplos. A diploma holder can get direct admission in second year of any undergraduate degree program.
A technical degree like B.tech is of 4 year duration But a diploma is of 3 year duration. A person can get admission in diploma program after 10th(Matric).
